Privacy issues still - or maybe it's just the control over what is shared that really matter. This is something that facebookers founder Mark Zuckerberg said, again and again, usually in a riot at a new feature comes on Facebook, and personal settings are tuned for more sharing. Squawk users, Facebook and adjusts settings to apologize and all is forgiven. After all, it's not as if there was a Facebook-like other place where people can go out and socialize on the Internet.

Within a month, Google + exploded, now 10 million members and growing. There were some comments on Facebook from people in my network. And many of them begin to appear in Google +, adding that their circles me. Even my wife, who spends a good amount of time connecting with family and friends in FB, when asked about Google + Saturday. We have created an account and at the time Monday morning came around, their network of circles and was growing.
My wife, who usually takes their privacy settings of Facebook - as well as her list of friends - very seriously, was initially skeptical about Google +. Do not really like the idea that does not need to ask a friend or accept a friend, and he was comfortable with anyone seeing her picture, status updates and other messages.
But then, when it sank in: Google began to realize that share specific media was actually a "better way" (his words, not mine) of the display of things. It is the only recognized that this form of sharing + Google was better than having to go and mess with all these settings in Facebook.
Now, none of this is to say that Facebook will move on a path MySpace soon. My wife has built a strong network of people in CA and even she said that, without some of his Facebook friends basic + Google was a bit boring. Certainly, it will not stop to connect to Facebook on a regular basis.
However, this will call for yet another warning to Facebook. Google sends a strong message and clear that Facebook is no longer the only game in town. And take time to resolve sticking points that have long existed in Facebook - such as privacy - will only make Google + looks so much more attractive.
Which brings me back to my prediction that if the privacy settings, I do not at all surprised to see Facebook becomes a kind of simplification of these parameters. Of course, this means that the leader is following the new man on the block.
But it must be better than in the wake of MySpace.
